This building that looks (remotely) like a nautilus shell is actually the Shanghai Institute of Applied Physics. The research center was founded by Shanghai Institute of Nuclear Research (SINR) in the summer of 2003.

    Thanakrit (Thana) Gu is a Shanghai-based creative. He's worked with brands such as Marriott, AirBnB, and Lego, and his photography has been featured on the likes of Quartz.
