We’ll end this series with a tattoo that’s not actually bad, Kenyon Martin’s 患得患失 — to worry about gains and losses. Perfectly fine idiom there. What’s bad in this situation is that Martin was kind of a dick recently to Brooklyn Nets player Jeremy Lin, who attracted some internet hate when he got dreads last October:

Kenyon Martin went off on Lin in a (promptly deleted) Instagram video with comments like:
Come on, man. Let’s stop it with these people. There is no way possible he would’ve made it on one of our teams with that bullshit on his head.
The beef seems to have been quickly squashed, and Lin replied with a classy own:
Let he who has not appropriated the other’s culture cast the first stone…
