About RADIIFounded in 2017, RADII provides a unique and insightful look into today’s China, cutting through the noise to uncover dynamic stories that upend clichés and create a deeper understanding of China’s role in creativity and culture across the world.Marketing SpecialistWe’re looking for an experienced Marketing Specialist with PR and partnership experience to work closely with the Head of Media/Business Director, to grow RADII’s audience, level up RADII’s presence in international media, and develop our RADII ambassadors and community. This individual will be responsible for building RADII’s brand through strategic outreach opportunities and building partnerships, offline and online. If you possess PR/marketing experience or a similar capacity in a digital media agency, social media company or media platform, we’d love to meet you!Duties:Plan and implement key marketing initiatives to meet marketing audience and follower goalsConduct research to stay up-to-date on the digital marketing landscape to communicate ongoing knowledge of market trends, technology, and best practicesImplementation of PR activities (online/offline) from initial briefs through to campaign evaluationAssist the Head of Media on the planning and execution of periodic international marketing campaigns to encourage conversion, increase brand awareness, and drive community engagementDevelop communication materials/tools for partnership-related projects, including materials for sponsored brands, events and collaborations, as well as documentation of best practices for partnershipsWork closely with the media/business development team to develop partnerships, co-create events, as well as evaluate, execute and report on paid campaignsCollaborate with RADII Editorial/Studios/Biz Dev to conceptualize, outline, negotiate, and finalize partnership structures and agreementsServe as the primary media representative for all of RADII’s non-editorial enquiriesGenerate industry-specific media lists, write creative pitches, and conduct outreach for RADII upcoming projects, such as product launches or content campaignsNurture and maintain existing relationships with RADII-associated publications, organizations, and businessesRequirements:Bachelors in Marketing/Digital Marketing, with at least 2 years experience in a similar capacity from related fields of digital marketing, public relations, digital publishing and project management.Agency or PR background preferred – strong communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills are required.Successful track record in helping storytellers and media entities secure media attentionDeep understanding of global media trends, Sino-American issues, and Chinese cultureBased in Shanghai, with bilingual proficiency in English and MandarinIf you’re interested, please email your CV, a few relevant examples of your writing or editing, and a brief cover letter to [email protected]
